Stonecreek is currently accepting applications for all grades through Grade 12. However, openings are limited in several grades. We offer a Montessori multi-year grade format, with Grades 1 – 5 in Elementary. These are taught by a Montessori trained professional with over 15 years of experience.
The Middle School operates in a grouping of Grades 6 – 8. Here students begin the transition from our hands-on Montessori materials to more problem based learning and abstract thinking and learning. Students also begin to receive grades; those students who are performing at a high school level (ex., in algebra 1 or geometry in middle school) will have those grades earned in their official transcript and progress forward a the best pace for them.
High school operates in general by following a grouping of Grades 9-10, and Grades 11-12. However, advanced students may be moved forward as needed. In addition, Honors level classes are offered for each high school class and students are moved into these sections as appropriate following the first few weeks of evaluation each year and they continue to move at their individual paces. Thus, students can be in pre-calculus or calculus on campus or begin taking early college courses off-campus as part of their educational day.
